Jenny Telgenhof: 3s Class TeacherMy name is Jenny Telgenhof and I am the 3’s teacher at FPP. I received a degree in Psychology and an elementary teaching certification from Gettysburg College. I was the Elementary Director at The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Holland until my first daughter was born. My three daughters, Abbie, Emily, and Maggie attended FPP in both the 3’s and 4’s programs. While there, I served as the Membership Chairperson. In addition, I have been the Gym teacher and a classroom aide at the preschool. This will be my fourth year as the lead teacher and I’m so excited to get to know each of my students!

Liz DeBacker: Enrichment Teacher
Hello everyone!
I am so excited to teach the enrichment and the 3's classes this semester! Both of my boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time at First Presbyterian, and I feel so incredibly blessed to be part of this community as a parent, former board member, and now as a teacher. A little bit about my background: I have a BA in Education from Hope College. I spent the first few years of teaching at an elementary school in Queens, NY before moving to Chicago to complete my Master's in Library Science. After moving back to Holland, I worked in the Youth Services department at Herrick District Library and was a storytime provider while there. I have been a stay at home parent over the last several years, but began teaching Enrichment last school year and loved it. I am so looking forward to getting to know the children and your families. |
Rachel Hammond: 4's AideMy name is Rachel Hammond and I am thrilled to be the 4's aide at FPP! I have previously worked in the pharmacy and healthcare fields for 15 years. For the past 3 years, I've been a stay at home mom to my two amazing daughters, Natalie and Isabelle. Along with being a stay at mom to our daughters, I'm also mom to our 3 dogs, Sadie, Copper and our newest rescue, Luna. I have lived in Holland my entire life, and now my husband and I are raising our family here. Isabelle attended First Presbyterian Preschool last year, and we fell in love with the FPP community. I am excited to be joining the FPP team and getting to know the students!

Marina Tronrud: Preschool DirectorHello! My name is Marina Tronrud and I am so honored to be the director at First Presbyterian Preschool. Even though neither my husband nor I are originally from Holland (we met while attending Hope College), we love this community. There really is no better place to live than Holland, right? Our oldest two children attended First Pres and our newest little one will one day as well! I have been involved with the preschool since 2014, as a co-op parent, classroom aide, and music teacher. The First Presbyterian Preschool community is amazing and I am so excited to be a part of it!
